Sabrina Hughes
Office Manager / PRSS
God brought me to Harvesting Hope Recovery at the very beginning of my own journey, long before I ever imagined serving others in this work. I walked through these doors needing hope, healing, and a place where I could be seen without judgment. What I found here changed my life — love, grace, compassion, and encouragement that met me exactly where I was.
This community helped me rebuild my foundation, and now I have the privilege of giving that same support back. Today, I serve as the Office Manager and Peer Recovery Support Specialist for our Outreach Center, walking alongside men and women who are fighting the same battles I once faced. Every day, I get to witness courage, growth, and the quiet strength that comes from choosing recovery.
Harvesting Hope Recovery is more than a program to me — it’s home. It’s where I learned that healing is possible, that shame doesn’t get the final word, and that no one has to walk this road alone. My heart is to make sure every person who comes here feels welcomed, valued, and supported, no matter where they are in their journey.
If you’re seeking hope, you’re in the right place. You are not alone, and you are always welcome here.

I’ve walked through a few tough
seasons in my life, a couple marked
by addiction in my family. In the
middle of that darkness, God met
me and revealed my purpose.
Since then, I’ve been learning what
it means to live in obedience to His
calling.
Today, I serve at Harvesting
Hope Recovery, where my heart is
to help people move from isolation
into healing, and discover lives filled
with hope, purpose, and faith.

HHR Board Member & Secretary
HHR was a sound foundation for me. Now serving as secretary on the board provides ongoing support that I can give back to my
community and peers.

When my life was in shambles because of a loved one's addiction, I found education, resources, and support in places like this. Eventually recovery came for my son, and a different kind of recovery came for me as well.
That journey brought me full circle to having a heart to help walk together with my friends in addiction or in recovery... as well as supporting their family members and friends. My heart is in these rooms of recovery.

I prayed for an AlAnon meeting after attending meetings for 30 years. God brought me to Harvesting Hope Recovery Al-Anon. Meetings
keep me sane loving four adult children in addiction.
I accepted a board position shortly
after and have found a platform to pass it on to others beyond AlAnon and my family in Harvesting Hope Recovery.

I came to HHR because of a Godsend that brought me to Vinita and I ran into Mary on my first day.
My passion for helping people achieve
recovery aligns with HHR’s mission.

Serving as Director for New Creation House is an amazing opportunity for me to share my training, experience, and vision with women in recovery.
I am bringing hope and help to those
for whom both have been in short supply.
